Video Production Camps at iD Tech Summer Computer Camps
Surfing in the pristine waters of La Jolla or San Diego CA. on a sunny morning. Sounds good? It gets better when you spend the balmy afternoons learning digital video editing or movie-making from the pros. A California summer camp at iD Tech Camps is all set to make your summer a well balanced blend of fun and learning. Loads of youngsters are signing up for this much-awaited surf – cum – movie camp, where you can exercise your body and mind and have total fun in the bargain.
A couple of weeks spent in doing the same thing over and over again can get terribly dull. No wonder many campers are relieved to get back home. This hybrid camp is designed to keep boredom at bay with half the day spent on the beautiful beaches learning the amazing sport of surfing, and the other half in the computer lab making movies or perfecting your digital video editing skills. Surfing equipment (including a wetsuit and a board) and computers loaded with the latest software will be provided.
And the best thing about the camp is that YOU decide when you will do what the day you arrive at our California summer camps. You get the flexibility of deciding whether you want to spend the mornings in the lab and the afternoons on the beach or vice versa. Lunch is sometime between surf time and tech time. A typical daily schedule at our movie – cum – surf camp consists of three hours of tech instruction and three hours of surf instruction.
Tech instruction will focus primarily on digital video editing and production, while surfing instruction will emphasize surfing techniques, ocean skills, etiquette and safety. The camper: staff ratio is limited to 6: 1, while the camper: surf instructor ratio is 7: 1 on an average. Please note that there will be no surf instruction on Fridays, though camp will still be in session.
