New to golfing ...how is this Driver ? for $50?
This was a posting in a local ad
King Cobra 460SZ 10.5 titanium driver with Aldila NV-HL regular flex/medium kick/60g shaft and Cobra Tour grip for left hand golfer complete with head cover. In great condition as only used three seasons. Has the usual scuffs but no dents. Shaft is unmarked. For $85
I replied saying I will buy it for $50, is it a good deal..why & why not ?
if it is a good deal ......what should I look for and do to check the reliability of this driver ?
How do I check if its right for me ?
hit it or forget it , too many people buy something with out trying it and then make swing adaptations to try and hit it . Just tell em to bring it to the range and hit it . Biggest thing with drivers is to tap the grip on the ground and make sure that the club has no rattle in it . A cobra driver for 50 bucks is never a bad investment if it doesn't rattle. New ones can go for upwards of 300 bucks so get one with a few years on it and save the mark up .
