what application on a mac should I use to open auto tune AU?
I have a mac and it says there is no specific application to open this program... HELP plz
Antares Auto-Tune is a software recording plug-in and it is not possible to launch the plug-in by itself. The plug-in must be opened from within another software program like Apple Logic, Apple Garageband or MOTU Digital Performer. When first installed, the Auto-Tune software will run for 10 days without authorization.
If you use Garageband, all you need to do is open the Garageband software and then Antares Auto-Tune will appear in the audio effects list. Auto-Tune can be selected from the effects list in Garageband and it will open up if the software is authorized.
If you use Apple Logic recording software, all you need to do is open the Logic software and then Logic will scan for the Antares Auto-Tune plug-in. The Antares Auto-Tune will appear in the Logic audio effects list. Auto-Tune can be selected from the effects list in Logic and it will open up if the software is authorized.
If the software is not authorized, an iLok USB hardware key is necessary to authorize the software. More details about an iLok key can be found in the following web links:
