How are claymores used in black ops?
I would like to use claymores in call of duty black ops but I have the tomahawk and wally pete set and I only know how to use those two with L2 and R2. I don't know how to use claymores and probably anything else I set to equipment because I have L2 and R2 occupying the use of other things. How are claymores used?
Firstly, you need to have claymores equipped in your class. To do that, go to the create-a-class menu and in the "Equipment" section, select "Claymore". A pop-up will appear that asks you if you want to buy the Claymore for 5000CP (What a rip-off!) and equip it, just buy it or cancel the purchase. It will also tell you to the right how many CP you've got and how many CP you will have after the purchase.
Secondly, equip the class with the Claymore while in a game.
To have a claymore in your hands and be ready to put it down, press the up directional button (^). To put the claymore down on the ground, press R1.
Remember that you can pick up the claymore that you have put down by holding SQUARE.
