Why Portugal Is The Most Interesting Country In Europe
Portugal consists of a strip of land running down the western side of Spain, this is the only other country it shares a boarder with and it is otherwise surrounded by sea, the med terrain to the South and the Atlantic to the west. Portugal has a proud history, Portugese explorers discovered Brazil which was a colony and still speaks the language. Portugal also rules over the small island of Madeira situated in the Atlantic.
Portugal makes a lot of its money from Tourism and the Algarve region is by far and away the most popular area and caters for families of holiday makers as well as middle class golfing fanatics. The region boasts beautiful sandy beaches, clean ocenas, acres of golf courses, busy bars and restaurants that cater for families, couples and younger groups.
Many people like the country so much they even decide to get a Portugal mortgage on a large villa and live there in winter while renting it out in the summer months. This has proved highly lucrative for some people due to the popularity of the Algarve region. If you are considering Portugal property finance at the moment then you may well be on to something.
Portugal has made its mark on the world stage, the country produces some top class sports talents such as Christaino Ronaldo and possibly the most sought after manager in the world, Jose Mourinho.
