I was recently injured and am on crutches when I recently traveled by air. Should I tip the people that help?
me. The airlines pay their CEOs millions, the pilots hundreds of thousands, and I paid hundreds for my airfare. I do not want to tip everyone that helps. There's a first person that gets you through the gate, then there's the driver of the cart. Then there are two or more people on the other end of the flight. I can't help that there are between 4 and 6 people total. I can't afford to tip everyone. Am I a jerk for not tipping? Or is the industry a jerk for treating handicap people this way?
Tipping is not expected for airline services.
