GOLF AIM /ALIGNMENT to left or right in fairway or on par 3 tee?
When the flag is tucked to the side, or whenever I need the shot to go just a bit right or left of center,I am not comfortable. When i adjust, seems like one part is on line and the other isnt.Since I am a lefty, aiming just left of center sometimes results in a low pull.Aiming slight right sometimes causes slice. The shots arent that off(side of green or fringe) either.
1. Is this common? or-
2. Are you not supposed to change alignment l/r of center/Should you align center and just hit a draw or fade? This I can do,and it would be much easier.
very very very common. one of various visual tricks course designers do. Simple remedy, when you align to a target to the green make sure to align your FEET SHOULDERS AND CLUB together..Might sound easy, but what alot of people do is subconsciously align their FEET to the TEEMARKERS. Then continue to align the rest to their target, then as a result..miss shot. Try that! Stick to your natural ball flight.
