How to Pick a Golf Driver
A golf driver is one of the two most important clubs in any golfer's bag (the other being the putter). The driver gets you off the tee, down the fairway and, hopefully, in great position to get on the green within another stroke or two.
A driver is a wood, so it has a flat face and a balanced but lightweight head. Look for a driver that is the right length for you, with a steel, titanium, or composite head and graphite shaft. (Old drivers actually have real wooden heads, but can't really compete with modern equipment.) Here is some tips to choose the right golf drivers for you.
Step 1 - Choose the right price for a driver
As with all things, you get what you pay for, and you can often spend as much or as little as you like (with quality corresponding to how low or high you go). The golf driver is no exception to this rule.
Golf drivers can be found priced anywhere from $45-50 to $2,800. Of course, the high end clubs have a lot of fancy design and materials used, and if you are serious about golf and have a big budget, they can be fun to own.
But for most golfers, a mid-priced driver ($200-$300) is more than sufficient and will be a quite good club. Do some research, determine your price range, and then find the best club for your range.
Prices for a driver range $45-$2,500, but for most golfers, a good driver runs $200-$300. Choose a price range and shop around for the best driver within that budget.
Step 2 - Choose the right shaft
When you choose your new driver, the type of shaft is just as important as the driver head as the r11 driver. Different materials provide different flex. Flex is the amount of "bend" in a shaft. Basically, the slower the swing you have, the more flex you need to create the right impact speed. If you have a fast swing, you will need a stiffer club shaft.

Loft is the measure of the angle of the club head. The greater the loft, the greater the angle on the face of the head and the more control but less distance. Slower swings need more loft. Faster swings need less loft.
Step 5 - Choose the right length

You will need to choose the right length shaft to ensure you have proper positioning on the ball during your swing.
