What's the differenence between cavity-back irons and forged blades?
I would like to buy new irons that will provide me with more distance, good feel, and high ball spin. I currently hit a 5 iron 190.
Oh, and the irons I have now are Maxfli Blue Max. I play well with them obviously, but I feel that I could get more out of my game with something newer and better than some 300 dollar irons at the time.
Haha yeah, I'm a 4 handicap and I should know this but I don't know details.

i have a set of blades that i got a long time ago they are not for every one i am not a pro and no where near a pro.
if u make the switch to blades its gonna be really bad for your handicap.
stick to the ones you have you seem like u are doing really well with what you have.
if you are a 4 handicapper that mean you are playing really well and more than likely its not your long game that needs work its more like your short game
u didn't give us enough detail about where u are having problems
what i would work on is putting and chipping if i were you.
and keep a better score card with more detail like how many puts per hole u average. and try to sink the ball in with one put instead of 2 puts
and remember that on a par 3 you should be on with the tee shot and have 2 puts for a par
and on a par 4 you should have a good drive of about 250 yard
and that would leave you with about 150 to the green work on your 7 iron shots for more accuracy once you have your short game worked out then all u need to do is one put and and soon you would be an even 0 handicap player.
