Whats the best shaft to put in a Callaway Ft-i to lower ball flight?
Hi,
I have a 9 degree Callaway Ft-i driver with the stock Fuji stiff flex shaft. Despite the 9 degree, I seem to hit it far higher than my old 10 degree R7. I find that because the driver has so much more spin that I balloon the ball too high. Instead of buying a new driver I'd rather just change the shaft cause its cheaper and I love the feel of the Ft-i. What in anyone's opinion is the best high kick shaft I could put in there to lower my ball flight?
PS. I have a 110 MPH Swing Speed
Also, the tip of the shaft is a .350

The problem is more than likely excessive spin not launch angle. There are tons of shaft options. The cheapest for this profile is probably a prolaunch red. On the higher end: diamana whiteboard. These both are low launch low spin. Other shafts that are low spinning but not low launching: aldila voodoo, Mitsubishi fubuki, most of the matrix and oban offerings, etc.
