Brandi Favre Visits Jail For Part In Meth Ring
Authorities in Diamondhead, Miss., have taken Brandi Favre - younger sister of Brett Favre - into custody. Favre, 34, is on the hook for charges including producing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, transferring the substance and producing hazardous waste merchandise, claims Hancock County Sheriff's Maj. Matt Karl. Brandi Favre was one of 5 persons taken into custody from an upscale Diamondhead condo on Golf Club Drive. She probably won't need a payday loan to make bail.
Brandi Favre and business produced large quantities of crystal meth
When the Hancock County Narcotics Task Force came to see Brandi Favre, her neighbors weren’t surprised although Diamondhead is a quiet community normally. Task force director Karl spoke with WLBT3 NBC and said that the meth being produced was something the force was lead to after a sting outside Diamondhead. Seven units nearby were all evacuated. The risk of an explosion is very high with meth production because you will find flammable evaporated solvents that production releases. There was a lot of drug found by authorities. It was all finished too.
“We discovered the full lab in the bathroom; it was still cooking. I think we collected pretty close to 10 grams (worth about $1,000) of finished product, which, that's a lot of meth," said Karl.
Crystal meth ring gets others arrested
Brandi Favre wasn’t the only one arrested. Also arrested were Carl Wynn III, Alesha Kirkland, Marty Grimes and David Logan. All of the suspects were ages 25 to 53. Favre has been arrested before, on charges ranging from felony shoplifting to unlawful use of a weapon during a drive-by shooting. MSNBC spoke with Karl who said, “she’s always in trouble.” This implied that Brandi Favre has had mug shots within the past. The retirement of Brett Favre came at a perfect time. Now he could have the time to deal with the issues that came with the Jenn Sterger ordeal and with Brandi Favre’s issues that his life and marriage have been dealing with.
Restrictions on cold medicine causes crystal meth market to get even better
It seemed like meth became more wanted following the ban on pseudoephedrine. This was on any cold medicines using it, Impact Lab reports. This in turn has created what the United States Drug Enforcement Administration calls a “sub-criminal culture” in which somebody like Brandi Favre can turn $1,000 in profit from less than 10 grams of crystal meth.
