How To Choose An Xbox System
Every day i walk past my local games retailer and think that I should actually go in and buy myself a console. I have reached the point where I am certain that only an Xbox console will do considering the recent hubbub with personal data loss on the Playstation 3 network!
Acquiring and 360 can be a trifle intimidating though, as there are several different systems available but I just want to play a game of Duke Nukem Foreverwhen it hits the high street later this year!
The Xbox 360 Core System is white shelled and is notable for having a wired gamepad as opposed to one which works wirelessly. Most players will want to save their game progress and save downloaded content and so Core is not suitable for it fails to include a much needed memory unit. The 360 Arcade package eventually replaced the Core option as the basic Xbox package which does come with the necessary 256 MB memory unit, as well as wireless controller set up and the benefits of Xbox Live Silver.
360 Premium contains that within the Arcade package and more, including a 20GB detachable hard drive for storing data of all types, headset, HD AV cable, Xbox Live Silver and a free trial for Gold. A Xbox 360 Elite deal meanwhile is for the keenest of Xbox 360 fans, comprising a gorgeous black shell and the console is usefully packaged with a HDMI cable. Elite is also bundled with the previously mentioned peripherals and Xbox Live trials, in addition to a large 120 GB external drive!
In fact I have been after an large external drive for a long time and so I reckon that Premium is the deal that I should go for. I am interested in playing the LA Noire game when I receive my pre order and am likely to pre order NCAA Football 2012.
