Is this deal on a scotty cameron too good to be true?

I emailed the guy and he said he would sell me one for $160. He also told me he didn't have the headcover. I am going to look at it in person but I am still wondering if this could be a fake and is the a cereal number on scotty camerons like there are on titleist irons?
Sounds like it should be ok , and yes you can find a serial number on the upper part of the shaft , you can go to the Scotty Cameron website and e-mail or call to verify the serial number .

I am sorry but Dirty BL and Golf Digger are dead wrong I own two Scotty Camerom Studio Stainless and I am looking right at the serial numbers as I type this and I registered them with Scotty Cameron and they sent me a registration card to validate their authenticity , also I called a buddy who owns one as well and he has a serial number as well and they are not custom they were purchased at Golfsmith right off the showroom shelf .
