Would Nike Pro Combo Irons be good for someone who shoots in the 90's?
I've been seriously thinking purchasing this set of irons. I'm hitting Ignite's right now, and I don't really like them anymore. They are more of a starter set and I'm looking for something a little more advanced. I do like the progressive iron combination.
I hear these clubs are good for shaping shots in the lower irons, and pretty forgiving in the longer irons.
Cost is really no issue at all for me. I am looking for something in Nike though.
I have a set of Pro Combo irons and I love them. I was playing a set of Mizuno T-Zoid's when they first came out and loved the design. I bought the set the following spring and have been hitting them ever since. I shoot mid to low 80's so handicap isn't an issue with these clubs. David Duval won the British Open with a prototype of these clubs. The Pro Combo OS has a larger club head than the original Pro Combo. Obviously the Pro Combo tour has a smaller head.
