Our evolution in Traditional iron door design is displayed in the advanced construction of our iron door product. Fabrication of our one piece jamb and stile with built in kerf for weather-strip, double barrier against water penetration at the operable glass panel and integrated steel threshold, has brought us, Portella, to the forefront of iron door manufacturers with others constantly attempting to "catch up".

Techniques learned and experience gained from our Traditional series doors has allowed us to expand our iron door product lines to the ever expanding contemporary trend currently taking place in the home and commercial market. Portella now offers our MoMa and Architect series doors.
The single-family home market as well as the commercial market is perfectly suited for the Architect series units. The Architect series distinct features are its low, thin profile in stiles and jamb able to accommodate any style glass, insulated or single pane with true 7/8" window divisions.
Our MoMa series iron doors feature strong clean lines and attractive minimalist detailing. This line complements ultra-contemporary home and commercial designs.
All of Portella Custom Iron Doors lines are compatible with pivot or off-set pivot hinges or our standard custom low reveal hinges.
