What are the best waterproof & warm trousers that will keep me toasty down the yard.?
I am looking for some warm waterproof trousers not to expensive that will keep me warm when i am down the yard all day. No matter how much i layer up i always come home freezing. I have a fleece wrap aound excersise sheet for riding in so i am not to bothered about them being suitable for riding in... just mucking out & general yard dutys really.
I get mine at the local Thrift Shoppe, for less than $10 and can get just about any color I want. Some are fiber filled, some are actually down filled, they are pants (some have zippers at the bottom so that you can put them on and remove them with your boots already on)..they are high waisted ski pants with built in suspenders...they are wonderful and I have used them for over 25 years...expensive in the retail stores, a steal at the thrift shoppe.
And, it doesn't take 10 minutes to use the bathroom when you are freezing to death...:)
