What would be good materials to use to make a head dress for a fancy dress costume in regular use?
I regularly dress up as the Statue of Liberty - and I would like some tips on what materials I could use to make an accurate looking head dress- to include the hair, and the crown of Miss Liberty?
I had thought of using a mop / ball of string to make the hair with and somehow dye the string, or paint it once it is attached
It needs to be something that isnt too heavy for wearing on the head
Preferably waterproof.. what type of paint to use for this?
And it also needs to be sturdy, and fit for regular use
Any ideas?
