Can you use ether dry erase or wet erase marker on a white board or do they require different kinds of boards ?
I have a white board and bought dry erase marker to use on it. When I wipe it the board doesn't come clean even with the cleaning solution that came with the markers. I've tried Windex and a non abrasive cleaner too. The Non A cleaner works but is a pain.
If this is a new board you probably need to wash it first. Give it a good cleaning with a soft cloth (like a face cloth). Since you have already used the cleaner I would suggest that you use plain water and make sure the board is dry before you try writing on it.
If the marker is beading up when you write on it there may be a clear protective coating over the dry erase surface that needs to be removed. This happens once in a while with some of the boards we ship out. The plastic is on so tight people don't know it's there.
I know... sounds dumb but it happens.
You may also want to ditch the marker that came with it and get a good quality Expo marker instead.
