All My Children?I read that Dixie came back to Pine Valley for about a month. Didn't she die? Was she a ghost?
Or were they flashbacks? I stopped watching after she died. She was my favorite character.
Yes, Dixie did come back to Pine Valley for a month. She came back as a ghost to unite her daughter Kate with her father, Tad. To do this she had to go to Adam who knew Julia's "Kathy" was truly Kate. Adam had Kate's birth certificate in a box in his home. He was going to tell Tad but when he tried Krystal announced her marriage to Tad. Infuriated Adam burned the papers. Dixie pleaded with Adam to tell Tad or his soul would go to hell. In the end when Tad almost died due to a gunshot wound Adam came forward with the information. Also, when Tad was in his coma from the gunshot Dixie showed them their whole life had she not died. They grew old together with Kate. Dixie's stint ended with her going back to heaven and Tad living on with his daughters and wife.
