One day when i was playing golf in the rain my G-10 slipped out of my hands?
and it flew into the air and hit some branches and came down undented and without any scratches. the shaft doesnt look bent but is my club damaged? what should i do if it is.
Take it to the range, along with a buddy that's the same hand as you. Hit some balls with it. Have him hit some balls with it. If neither of you can make a negative determination, you're OK. If one of you feels it's off somehow, take it to a club maker. He can run some tests on it, and determine the proper course of action.
Be prepared- you may pay nothing for not have any damage, you may pay a variable amount to possibly have it reshafted (depending on the shaft), you might pay a lot for a new driver.
As an untrained clubmaking enthusiast, if there's no visual damage and/or audible discrepancies (like a rattle in the head), and it's playable, you should be OK.
