Any opinions about what type of laser rangefinder I should buy?
I plan on using it for whitetail hunting in wisconsin, mule deer out west, and maybe on the golf course. I was at cabelas and they have a bushnell 1500 with ARC (angle range compensation), anyone used one of these?. My budget is 300-500.
Bushnell 1500 is fine just make sure it is water proof.
I do believe it is but I would make sure.
That is one thing I demand in all my specialty tools as in Range Finder, Spotter Scope, GPS and Binoculars.
I wont buy any thing not water proof, and if it can be had, I wont shock proof.
I don’t wont to be out on a hunt and have to deal with equipment failure just because I tried to save a buck or two.
The hunt and even your own life could depend on the quality of your equipment.
Out hunting you never know what may happen, you wont your equipment to stand up to the test.
I can say on several hunts me and my equipment has gotten wet more then once.
