The Rapture?
If physical bodies are taken up to the heavens then that might mean spacecraft are involved. If given new bodies, then that might be hybrid alien/human bodies (which is being done already according to some abductee stories).
If the above is to occur, then would this change your faith in Christ (if a believer)? Or would you go ahead and be raptured anyway?

No, the idea comes from the bible and in that bible it states that tose who will ascend will be given new bodies by being transformed into spiritual beings. Spirit beings are not subject to the 'laws' of the physical realm.
The angels are spirit beings.
