Alaskan King Crab Legs
Seafood for all its purposes is one of the most commonly consumed meats in America. Even certain “vegetarians” eat fish to keep up their protein levels. It’s truly amazing how no matter where you are, you’ll find a seafood restaurant. Of course you’ll also find a Burger King or the like wherever you go too, but it’s not the same.
Also, have you noticed that seafood restaurant are found everywhere just like Burger King and Seven Eleven but on a different rate, importance and support from the people. You can also find these restaurants being very busy and with fully occupied seats while entertaining its patrons and customers. What is funnier is that they still persist even when the general economic atmosphere is negative or going on a bust or when the stock market is crashing down.
Seafood, even though generally quite abundant because of its huge seas, varies in prices. What dictates their prices is the availability of the type of seafood, method of preparation and many others. Some seafood that is not that available in most market because they are hard to find and catch. Prices can also vary depending on the specific serving of the restaurant.
There are varieties being offered in these restaurants and they also vary from forms, servings and prices of course. Some cost a dollar or two for single serving while other dishes can cost you twenty dollars ($20) to thirty dollars ($30) for just a petite single serving. For example, when I ate in March in Red Lobster, what I paid for a single serving of a small lobster is nineteen dollars ($19) but extremely worthy.
This is not boasting about something else, it is just to prove that some seafood delicacies are extremely delicious but extremely expensive as well. One example of seafood that you can never get for a dollar or two is the Alaskan king crab legs. The Alaskan King Crab Legs is one of the rarest and hard to find and most expensive seafood in the whole world. The reason behind its cost is, of course, the hardness of catching aside from the fact that the place where they can be caught is hard to locate as well. Hence, you cannot expect to catch them by chance on a trip to the sea one day.
On the lighter side, we are very lucky that we can actually find this Alaskan King Crab Legs in some of our favourite restaurants. They are usually bought by these restaurants in frozen state so that they can somehow keep it in fresh state. Nonetheless, what is incredible is that these restaurants are incredible capable of selling this Frozen Crab Legs despite its very expensive price. That only proves that it is really widely patronized and once you tried it, be wary to be hooked into it for a lifetime.
