Golf question: How do i know if I should buy a club with a STIFF flex as opposed to REGULAR?
Well I'm about to buy a taylormade burner online, and i cant decide which flex for it to be, either stiff or regular. I heard that u should get stiff if u hit it farther than average or something, but not totally sure. Also what about the SUPERFAST REAX shaft? is that any good?
First of all the REAX shaft is great shaft that comes with all tayormade woods/hybrids/ drivers. Secondly There is slightly to no yardage distance gain between both shafts. The stiff shafts are for those who have a high swing speed (mostly downswing), and regular shafts are for those who have slow swing speed. The reason they make a stiff shaft is because those who have fast swing speeds bend the club a ton in their backswing which leads to mishits and yardage loss.
