I recently just bought a new putter. I bought a Odyssey 2-Ball XG SRT. I thought I wanted it, and ditched my old putter (Odyssey XG #7) to buy it. I bought it for 190 at golf galaxy. However, I have been hitting other putters and found another one that I hit better and like the look and feel of much better. I think that I may buy it and then just give my dad my old one. It is $120. However I also want new irons, a fairway wood (I don't have one), another wedge (there is a gap in between clubs), and I wouldn't mind replacing my hybrid and driver. I think I may get the putter and try and get irons, then fairway wood, wedge, hybrid, and then driver.

The putter I want to get is the Taylormade Rossa Classic Imola 8. I have hit it and I really like it. I hit it well, like the feel, love the grip and I hit it side by side with my current putter and hit it much better.

Any suggestions?

yep, stop trying all the different putters and get one that is suited to your stroke and get your stroke down with that one...you can play this game of switching putters for years, I did...Ive been playing about 5 years now and Ive gone thru, a cameron terrilliyum, a cameron del mar 3.5, two cameron futuras, cameron JAT, a cameron red x2, ping anser belly, never compromise ZI, yes mallet, never compromise voodoo center shaft, never compromise beta, rossa monza corza center, three odyssey two balls set up differently, odyssey white hot xg #7, and currently im playing a weighted lined two ball center shaft, gripped cameron red studio design and a odyssey white hot xg marksman gripped cameron red studio design...and there are probably a half dozen or more that I cant remember at this time...my point is...you can always buy new putters but it takes time to find the right one and time working with one to feel comfortable...and yes...Im one of those guys who switches out woods and drivers every 8 months to a year...probably going thru 2 to 3 grand a year that I dont need to...but, I like having new gear so I do it, and give my last years gear away to my friends, cousins or nephews...try to get one putter that you really like, make sure its fitted correctly to you and just work hard with that one, the sooner you get more comfortable with one the better you will score...buying new gear is a game we can all play, esp since they release new gear every 8 months...I dont recommend it...good luck
