what kind of clubs do I have?
I have 2 sets of clubs I am having a hard time figuring what they are. The first set is and iron set 3-PW and the only thing it says on them is Palm Springs on the sole of the club. The other clubs are Kroydon brand clubs. They were given to me people who no longer used them. Are these knockoffs of another brand? Also, I am interested in taylormade but am torn between the burner series and the r7 cgb max III series. Which is more forgiving and better to use in terms of just starting out?
It seems to me that the Kroydons were a brand Circa 1960......have not seen them since I was a wee lad. The Palm Springs I have never seen.....but I would guess that they were a set that may have been a prize in a tournament of some kind in or near Palm Springs. I don't think that either would have been knockoffs....but I have not seen them so I can't swear for sure. For someone starting out....I'd tend for the R7's as being more foregiving
